5th Annual Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals Hits Orlando

 

 Rollins College will host the 5th Annual Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals, sanctioned by USA Wakeboard, in Orlando, FL, at the Orlando Watersports Complex on October 29 - 30. Last year’s competition saw over 20 schools from all across the country with the University of Central Florida taking the victory. Will they be able to defend their title this year? Come find out and fight for the title yourself!

 This year’s competition will feature 8 divisions divided by gender and ability. These breakups are designed to give more riders an opportunity to ride and accumulate points for their school. Registration is $35 per rider with a $15 late fee starting October 22. Register online here:

Riders are encouraged to register online at USAWakeboard.com. Valid college student ID is required at check-in as well as USA Wakeboard membership.

 Collegiate Nationals is one of the two qualifying stops for the Collegiate Finals, which will be a 16 team invitational held in April. There, teams will go head to head leading up to two final teams competing for the title. Don’t miss out on Collegiate Nationals or your chance to qualify for the Finals.  Check in will be held Friday, October 28, as well as practice on site held by OWC. Call (407) 251 – 3100 to book a set at their rate of $50.

Qualifications:  Any student with a valid student ID may ride. Highest 10 scores per team will be credited to the cumulative score of the team, though each school may bring an unlimited amount of riders.

Membership: All participating athletes must be members of USA Wakeboard in order to compete. You MUST either have your card with you or be prepared to purchase a membership on site.
